BLOG 1 :
Kian had been projecting for more than a century and was one of the best in Malgrovia . He had once been a squire for Prince Reginald Sterling ,spare to the Malgrovian throne .
He was physically bound to be by the prince’s side during the day and his spare time went by in his education of the neighboring countries, but he could project at night and roam about the palace without risking being caught by the palace guards . This proved to be useful when he learned of all the secret passages connecting the royal rooms to an underground escape tunnel that led to the sea on one side and the mountains to the far north .
One such day , he roamed about the beach front of the palace as he took in the night sky, he watched as ships rolled into the horizon by the hundreds , headed for the palace harbor . The unmistakable flag of Neldorra , dipped in the deepest blue with a black snake in an infinity symbol in the middle , had been hoisted upon all of the ships . That was when Kian realized that Neldorra had declared war on Malgrovia .
Kian zipped back to his body and warned the prince of his observations but he was too late , enemy soldiers had breached Malgrovia’s first line of defense and were headed for the royal rooms . Reginald and Kian fought against the growing force on the other side of the door to Reginald’s room . Kian refused to leave the side of the prince he took an oath to protect . Reginald shouted over the growing noise ,” Kian , this would be my last order , and you cannot refuse me , take the letter by my bedside stand , don’t touch it without wearing gloves, the letter will reveal its contents only under the first rays of the morning sun , run through the passage behind the lion’s portrait, whoever you meet at the crossroads is who you shall trust to open the letter . Now ,go, Kian and do not turn back .” Reginald then asked Kian to slice his palm open, collect the drops of blood and use it to open the passage as it had been bound by magic that responded only to royal blood . Despite his heart’s wishes , he carried out the orders he was given . He bowed to his prince one last time as the passage closed itself behind him .
He ran for what felt like hours and stopped at a crossway to find 2 boys staring at one another. Their eyes shot to Kian as he noticed the letters clutched in their gloved hands . All 3 of them jerked when a black cat ran out from one of the tunnels and greeted them with a courteous “ Well, hello gentlemen” .
An unexpected alliance had thus been formed between a squire , a hunter , a bard and a reverent black cat .
BLOG 2 :
The day started off as being yet another mundane one . Rune walked to Dina’s Diner for a cup of coffee before he went on with the day’s chores. His volunteering shift at the animal shelter went up to 4 pm . As the clock chimed 4 , he bid his furry friends goodbye and started walking home.
The sun had set , and Eldritch came alive, people buzzed around in woolen sweaters and leather boots . He walked back to Duskview Heights , an 18 storey apartment building in 3rd Moongrove street . He greeted Smithsman , the building’s old watchman who grunted in response .The humans in his building thought Smithsman was a mute ,as he didn’t speak any human languages , but Rune knew the grunt stood for hello in Aryakhi . He then took the elevator upto the 18th floor. The elevator doors opened and he walked to the common open balcony to avoid suspicion and pretended to take in the view it provided of Eldritch . Once the floor was clear of any humans , he opened the door to the electrician’s room and crossed the length of the room ,he stopped to reach under the tangled spool of wires and tugged on the large red wire that didn’t connect to any socket and the floor under him shifted ,opening upto 6 flights of stairs that weren’t there before. They were concealed from the human eye and even if they did appear , with a human present , were they to walk towards the stairs , they usually found themselves printed on the front page of the next days news . Rune heaved a sigh as he walked up to the 24th floor .
He opened the door to his apartment , and looked forward to enjoying some peace and quiet despite Ori’s snores . He made his way to the balcony that overlooked all of Eldritch, including the parts that humans couldn’t see . As if on cue , he heard 2 knocks , followed by another 4 and he counted 2 seconds and smiled as the last 3 knocks came from the window facing North of the city. He opened the door , and whispered “Hello , old friend “ onto the faint breeze and was slapped across the cheek by the sudden cool winds and the slap felt personal ,as if the winds were done putting up with his shenanigans . Rune had been receiving letters from Kian informing him of the Elder Council’s meetings , Kian was using the winds’ help to carry over his letters to Eldritch to avoid arousing suspicion, but nothing would have prepared Rune for Kian’s latest letter .
He expected the Elder Council to penalize him and Ori for their incompetence , but the letter said something else entirely and he screamed Ori’s name , that Ori jolted upright , boomerang clutched in one hand and a black flame in the other .
Unable to believe their eyes , they decided to call Kian for some clarification and soon realized that they weren’t the only ones stuck in a royal mess .
BLOG 3 :
Ori and Kian had just finished their training session and were walking back to the changing rooms , Kian said something about Rune’s face whenever he stepped onto the fighting ring that made Ori double over while laughing and that was when he felt the lack of a particular weight on his back , a weight which belonged to something that he considered to be a part of his own body , his boomerang he’d fondly named Astra – made in the mines of Malgrovia , of the purest black calamine . He realized that it was still wedged in the tree bark from when he’d practiced and ran over to retrieve it. He heard Kian call his name out and suspected the Rune was tackling Kian for making fun of him but something felt off and turned and heard Kian screaming his name . His voice seemed different , deeper than what he remembered but he still heard the panic in it ,he tried to run back over when he suddenly jolted upright , his hunting instincts kicked in , and he clutched Astra in one hand ,his black flame in the other to find Rune staring back at him .
The Elder Council yet again proved that they had the worst judgement in all of Malgrovia . The letter started off- boring as always , he skipped to the final part which ordered him and Rune to report at Irongate by twilight the next day , with an explanation for the Eldritch incident. This would be easy were it not for the fact that they had no explanation for what happened and if they failed to produce reason (of which there was none …yet ) , they had to surrender their weapons and would be bound by the Iron Link , which stripped them both of their powers .
Horus said,” Runethius Black , now what could possibly have happened that you had to wake me up from my slumber ! You seem to have managed the impossible by waking Orion up as well , something I have never been able to do in all my 260 years in this world “ , Horus was a black cat to the human eye but for the supernatural, he was a talisman. He helped teleport Rune and Ori to and from Malgrovia , each travel caused him great strain and he needed to sleep it off for a few days. Horus leaped over the counter to read through the letter , he hissed as he skimmed over the last part ,unable to hold back his disdain for the Elder Council’s decision .
Kian was back home in Malgrovia trying to project to Eldritch , and check out anything that seemed out of the ordinary . It was not advisable for either Rune or Ori to go near the river ,without knowing the reasons behind why neither of their powers work near the Volega , they never had any issues channeling near that river before but someone had warded off their magic and they didn’t know who or why . They had to either find out why and risk their powers being warded off again or report back at Irongate with no explanation . The former was the obvious choice.
BLOG 4 :
Kian was back home in Malgrovia , meditating per Horus’s instructions . He seemed to be of the opinion that only meditation would help with Kian’s overthinking . Unsurprisingly , it had no effect on him , his mind kept going back to his friends who were in Eldritch . Kian had received orders from the Elder Council forbidding him from contacting his friends and their words were peremptory . It was half past midnight , Kian had been lying in bed for over 2 hours , staring at the window , for some sign from the winds , some message that his best friends were doing okay , but his eyes slowly started to shut and he’d drifted into sleep . The gods must have heard his prayers as he was woken up by the sound of 2 knocks , followed by another 4 and after 2 seconds passed by the last 3 knocks came from the window .
He’d been waiting for weeks to hear these knocks . The winds finally carried a message for him from his friends ( they must have tipped the wind, if it was willing to go against the Elder Council to deliver a letter) . He opened the window and received a calming pat on his head by the cool breeze. He opened the scarlet parchment and went through its contents . The winds seem to caress his cheek like as if to calm him down as Kian stood by the window , unable to take his eyes off the letter and its implications , Rune and Ori will be bound by the IronLink if they failed to produce reason . The Elder Council seemed to be making very questionable decisions in recent times . Kian knew that Rune and Orion had to go back to the Volega to understand why their powers were zapped , very few in all of Malgrovia could contain Ori’s powers , and their powers usually resembled his ability to channel the black flame, but Ori had been the only Nyxen to have been spotted in Malgrovia in centuries who wasn’t of Neldorran descent, but even then , Rune’s powers being warded didn’t add up .
Kian knew that he had to project to Eldritch and be with them when they went near the river .
It was quarter past 5 in the evening , Kian projected to Eldritch and watched Ori and Rune blended into the crowd seamlessly . They slowed their pace when they reached the banks of the river . 1 hour passed and nothing happened , Ori summoned a tiny black spark in his fingers to check and his powers remained intact . They had been on the lookout for anything that seemed out of the ordinary and nothing seemed to catch any of their eyes . Rune and Ori looked around to make sure they weren’t being watched , and tried to summon their powers to check again when all of a sudden 2 figures materialized in front of each of them holding pitch black cuffs in their hands. The cuffs opened like as it was going back to bite Rune’s face when it went around his back and bounds his hands all in the matter of a split second . Rune shouted Ori’s name and turned around to find Ori’s mouth shut and he seemed to be struggling against some force that squeezed his throat and his lips remained shut and his hands were bound by the same cuffs , the creatures were no longer visible and and they ensured that neither of the supernaturals could channel .
Kian hadn’t realized that hed been shouting his friends’ names all along but he couldn’t do anything to reach his friends and knew that he had to call Horus and ask for other backup as there was no use projecting now , he wasn’t there when they needed him , he couldn’t help .Kian’s worst fears were coming true.
BLOG 5 :
Rune and Ori had been standing infront of the river for more than an hour and there were no signs of either’s powers being warded , they didn’t want to raise suspicion among the passers-by and so they both decided to walk back home when 2 figures formed out of thin air infront of him and before he knew it , an invisible gag bound his mouth and his hands were held back by these creatures . He couldn’t channel again . Ori seemed to struggle under the creatures’ hold , but something was pressing into his face and neck , choking the air out of him . Rune realized that the more they resisted , the less likely it was that they could escape but without knowing what it was that he was fighting , how could he do anything at all ? He then decided to use his combat training and knocked his head back to where he expected a creature to be standing but they seemed to disappear and reappear like as if they were made from thin air . Rune knew that Kian promised to accompany the two of them , but have they bound his projected form as well ?
They were being dragged into the Volega , Ori kept trying to break free and only suffered more , should Rune try to break free as well ? Or was fate to be accepted for being the pain that it is ? Rune closed his eyes to utter a final prayer upto his mother when he felt the temperature drop . Eldritch had always been a cold city , but its cold had never been so harsh that ones toes curled in . He knew that magic was at play , he knew who’d come then .
Their surroundings suddenly went coal black , none of the lights from the street shops were visible , the faint moonlight disappeared and with that reappeared the hope of surviving after all , Kian had called for backup and Horus teleported them .
He knew that Yani had altered the lights around them , or rather she blacked out everything and Anaya dropped the temperature . With the temperature freezing cold , the winds blew icicles onto figures that were soon solidifying .
These creatures seemed to be soldiers of some sort , they kept dragging Rune and Ori further into the river as Anaya and Yani actively fought them . The soldiers struggled as they weren’t able to see in the dark , Anaya used this to her advantage, she took out her knife and sliced through both the creatures and had drawn blood but not enough to kill them . Ori and Rune’s gags had loosened without the soldiers’ grip and Rune called out to Horus to teleport them back to Malgrovia before the soldiers regained their strength as they had caught on to Yani’s tricks. Anaya had been annoyed the entire trip as they couldn’t get evidence of what these creatures were and had to pause their fights , but atleast Yani looked relieved .
They reached a willow tree that came alive when a door appeared in its trunk and it flew open revealing a giddy Kian on the other side . He said ,” Its about time you jerks came home.”
BLOG 6 :
The three boys then stuck together as they navigated their way out of the passages under the palace .
They spent 82 days walking through the tunnels , from time to time they found food supplies stored in jute bags but they also had to go on for days without any food . To distract one another , they shared their life stories . Kian explained how he managed to become a squire to the spare prince .
The boy with tan skin and green eyes and a muscular frame introduced himself as Orion . He had been part of the King’s hunting crew and was also the elder prince’s hunting tutor and was part of the elder prince’s close circle of friends .
The other boy was pale with a thin frame , lacking any muscle . But he towered over both Kian and Orion by barely a few inches . Kian knew who the boy was , he’d seen him in the royal court before. He was Runethius Black , son of Merolthius Black , chief commander of the Malgrovian army . The boy made himself well known among the palace staff as he rebelled against his father’s wishes of him joining the army to become a bard . Kian was intrigued as to how Rune came across a letter like Orion and himself . Rune didn’t trust either of them to given them the reason behind his possession of the letter .
The three of them were unable to find out the letters’ contents as they never came across any sunlight in the underground passages . Horus the black cat taught the boys how to use a species of bugs they came across ,as a source of light . They had a bulb like form at one end and when disturbed these bugs emanated light from these bulbs which helped illuminate their path . Horus called them fireflies , they also served as a source of entertainment .
The boys soon started to trust each other and when they reached the end of the tunnel they’d been walking through ,Horus informed them that they’d come to Valgrian territory now .”
Kian and Orion were working on plans on how to get above ground , when Horus said , “ Are you both aware that royal blood opens these pathways?” . Orion replied,” Yes we are but we don’t have royal blood at our disposal that is readily available for our usage . Now do we Horus?” Horus cocked his head to one side in a feline manner when he turned to Rune and said ,” Now Runethius , are you still going to not tell them child ? I would assume ,having spent 82 days helping one another survive would have built trust, don’t you agree ?”
Rune replied in a hushed voice,” My …. My blood can work .”
Kian scoffed,” what do you mean , your blood will work ? your father is an army commander , how would you be royal ?“
Rune said ,” I am not Merolthius’s actual son , he took me in . I um , I am third in line to the Malgrovian throne .”
Orion said slowly , “ third in line , third in…. You are the prophesied prince !! “
Horus said “ Now gentlemen ,how about we exchange pleasantries once we get above ground . There is much more left to figure out and I wouldn’t want to keep the ladies waiting. “
BLOG 7 :
Rune rolled his eyes at the mention of ‘ladies’ ,” Horus, I wouldn’t call those heathens ladies.”
A voice spoke from behind them ,” Now you take that back Rune or I swear to the gods above , youll regret it.” Another voice added,” Anaya you cant keep threatening him at the drop of a hat but Rune , that was entirely uncalled for .”
Orion yelped when the voices came from behind him and ran toward the wall , “What in the actual hell is going on Horus !!! I know we don’t like each other but you cant use ghosts to scare me .” Horus added exasperatedly ,” Orion, if I wanted to scare you I would’ve done it a long time ago , the voices you hear aren’t from ghosts but from 2 young ladies who’ve been helping you 3 all along, per His Highness’ orders.”
2 figures then came into Kian’s view , as Horus stirred the fireflies lining the walls . Both the women seemed to be spies of some kind , they took off the cloth covering their faces , the taller one Anaya had bronze skin , hazel eyes and short brown hair . The kinder of the two introduced herself as Yani. She had slit eyes ,pale white skin and deep black hair that almost looked blue under the bug lights . He’d seen both of them before, one night while projecting around the palace , they had zapped out of his view as if disappearing into thin air , Kian was drunk that night and dismissed what he’d seen from his mind but now he realized that Yani commanded light and that’s how they both had hidden in plain sight .
Anaya said ,” Rune , you better thank the two of us, you’d have frozen to death had I not been channeling all along .” Looking at Orion’s surprised face ,she added,” Oh yes , I can control the weather and Yani controls light , and I know what you can do too , youre a Nyxen right ?”
Orion looked puzzled ,” Yes I am , have you been spying on me ?” . Yani replied,” Oh no please don’t mistake her , we heard rumors about a Nyxen having been born after 2 centuries , and well youre a rarity so we made it a point to know who you are .”
Orion looked like he was done with the conversation , he said,” yes im aware , I am a part of a prophecy , and our friend Rune here is too , Ive come to realize , not that he bothered to tell us who he was .”
Rune said , “ I apologize for that , I should’ve been more forthcoming but when you’ve been hunted your whole life just for being who you are , you tend to be secretive , I wasn’t sure if I could trust you but after all these days , I know for a fact that I can . you’ve become my friends now .”
Horus said ,” again gentlemen , the exchange of pleasantries can be done aboveground as well , my fur is starting to itch from the lack of sunlight .”
Rune quickly replied , “ Ah , yes , on it .” and he whipped out a tiny dagger from his pant slit his palm and wiped it over the tunnel wall and the ground shook as a boulder moved and they finally stepped out of the tunnels after having spent 82 days underground.
BLOG 8 :
Kian remembered the day it all started . They had gotten out of the tunnels into a rainforest of sorts , Horus led the way and they all walked to an old willow that opened under Horus’ command . Horus informed them that the willow was a hideout that was centuries old , it had an entire house inside its trunk . Kian would’ve thought it to be bizarre but after the past few months , nothing seemed to surprise him . the 6 of them lived in the trunk for almost a year , the house seemed to have endless supplies of food, so they didn’t have to fear there being a shortage . The initial phase proved difficult but gradually they had fallen into a rhythm , they each had a responsibility .
But no amount of work seemed to get their minds off the unnerving feeling of impending doom that they all felt , the fear that the scent and the power emanated by 5 supernaturals and 1 talisman would be detected . News of the royal family having escaped the Neldorran army spread through Malgrovia like wildfire , Anaya had been visiting villages near the forest borders to collect any intel regarding Neldorran forces and was told that the Neldorran prince had announced a reward for any supernatural who had intel on the royal families’ whereabouts .
Horus told them that this was just a strategy to capture supernaturals and turn them into Neldorran soldiers . He also said that Rune’s blood could easily be tracked and that his father (the king) ‘s efforts of having him hidden all these years, of giving him upto Malethius to raise as his own son , all the lengths they’d gone to ,to conceal his identity would be of no use if the Neldorran scouts were to catch him and that he should stay in the human lands for a while to throw them off as Neldorran’s were rumored to not be able to cross onto the human world as their dark magic had limits .
Orion promised to keep Rune safe in the human world and had requested Horus to accompany them as well . Kian was adamant that he’d go with Rune , he wanted to protect the third prince even if he wasn’t able to keep the spare safe and that guilt ate away at his conscience . but horus dismissed him saying ,”Kian , you are our eyes and ears , our safety is dependent on you being able to project and you are strongest in Malgrovian grounds . Stay and guide us from here . Yani and Anaya will stay back with you . You three will be on your own now .”
Kian had been projecting for hours ever since Yani and Anaya left for the human world , he finally saw 4 figures and a feline creature walk toward the willow at 2 in the morning and his relief was palpable , He zapped back to his body and swung open the willow’s door and smiled at their bloody faces and figures and said ,” Its about time you jerks came home.”
BLOG 9:
All of them had been tired after the fight and the journey back to the willow . Anaya and Yani had taken a few blows to their face, abdomen and ribs during the fight and Kian tended to their wounds .
Rune heard Horus muttering something to himself , he asked Horus what had been bothering him when Horus replied ,”I should’ve known , I’d been wrong all along , it wasn’t you they wanted Runethius , I should’ve known.” Rune found this entirely confusing , the Neldorran scouts had been on the lookout for royals and must’ve detected Rune in the human world , it made perfect sense but that’s not what Horus just said . Rune asked,” Horus what do you mean I’m not the one they’re after ?” Horus looked at Ori and a silent conversation seemed to pass between them both , this caught the others’ attention too .
Kian asked,” Horus what is happening ? Why did they follow you to the human world ? Ori , spit it out , what is it ?”
Ori replied,” It’s me , I had an inkling that it had been me all along but when Rune told us that he was the third prince I thought; maybe I am not the one they’re after but it makes perfect sense now . Kian , you said you heard those creatures by the river say something about capturing the prince right ?”
Kian said slowly,” yeah , the one that had a hold of you said that but I thought he had you confused with Rune .”
Horus replied,” everyone did , the prophesied prince that was believed to be from Neldorra , with whose return , the Neldorran glory will be restored , our king thought Rune was the prince and had him hidden all these years but it was you Orion , you all along .”
Yani said,” but you’re not neldorran Ori , you … the black flame ? Oh,how could I have missed it ! I heard the rumors about a prince of the dark , but I never gave it a second’s thought as it seemed like folklore but it had never been about royal blood . The black flame makes you a Nyxen but theres not been a Nyxen in any of the eight kingdoms in centuries so the Night’s Prince needn’t be Malgrovian royalty ,the prophecy struck across the Other World ,and …. the Lost Prince from the prophecy , is you isn’t it ? You are who the Neldorrans have been looking for all along .”
Orion laughed ,” you make me sound formidable Yani , but yes I’ve arrived at the same conclusion. But where we go from here is what bothers me . Horus , should I surrender ? Neldorran forces have already taken the palace hostage , the royal family is nowhere to be seen except for Rune here and no one knows who he is , we can’t all be stuck in this secret haven for all of eternity right ?”
Horus replied ,” don’t be foolish Orion , you will not be surrendering , gods know what the Neldorrans want from you . We shall all take some time off and think , but first ,rest child . All important decisions can be made in the morning . No further discussions everyone , sleep at once !”
Orion replied ,” you know Horus , you may look like a small black cat but you are scary.”
Horus chuckled ,” I need to be , in order to take care of you lot , now sleep Orion before you get anymore ideas.”
BLOG 10 :
There was once a time when all the 8 kingdoms belonged to the same motherland called Pangaea , each one serving a purpose before a fight brokeout between two of them major clans – The Neldorrans and the Malgrovians . The Neldorran chief – Mikael Volega , had been elected as The Chief Supreme by the other 7 kings to serve a period of 50 years. The Chief Supreme commanded the military forces of all eight kingdoms during his period and his decisions could only be questioned by the Elder Council , but his position could be contested at any point during his rule by the other kings , this was the accepted norm at the time .
Horus’s great grandfather had served as a talisman to Mikael Volega and was a witness to the prophecy that broke Pangaea . Nandarcha who was believed to have been a messenger of the gods had given the kings one last prophecy before his untimely passing , Horus had it memorized since the time he was an infant per his father’s orders – “ Pangaea shall thrive , her legs shall run , her arms shall wield, her eyes shall bear witness and so shall her ears . Thrive she shall , part by part , her whole divided by the knife of night .”
The kings at the time had come to a conclusion that this meant a great war would breakout between the eight kingdoms . Mikael ensured that precautions were taken by all the kingdoms to ensure the prophecy doesn’t strike true and Pangaea enjoyed a period of happiness but it was fleeting .
Mikael had been blessed with an heir who wielded the night’s flame like him . Anyone with the power of the black flame was called a Nyxen – a child of night , and bards across the kingdoms believed that a Nyxen was born only by the will of the Night herself to deliver justice during times of strife .
Celebrations were held in all their glory across the eight kingdoms ,the kings of Pangaea had been called to Mikael’s residence to break fast and to honor the occasion . The prosperity that the Neldorrans had enjoyed all along was finally being felt by the citizens of the other kingdoms , but this led to them rooting for Mikael’s term to be extended but the kings disagreed , and so the 7 other kings schemed behind Mikael’s back to weaken him and the most efficient way to do that at the time was to kidnap his son , they hoped it would cloud his judgement and that would help their cause .
After the cradle ceremony in the morning , the kings had assigned tasks to their spies to ensure the plan’s flow and per their plans , the child must be taken back to the Malgrovian king- Vikraman’s room in Mikael’s palace , and the child would then be carried out from the palace as part of his luggage . But when the child still hadn’t reached Vikraman’s room , he suspected that the plan had gone awry and took it upon himself , it was when he reached the child’s room that he realized how mistaken they all were . His spies were caught in pillars of black flames , these pillars were as tall the room and yet nothing in the room seemed to burn . They looked frozen in their place , Vikraman had never seen anything quite like that when he heard some cooing noises coming from the cradle at the far end of the room . Perplexed, he walked across the room to find a babe with flickering little flames at the tips of his fingers , seemingly amused by the sight of the black flames around him . Vikraman had always wanted a powerful heir to continue his line and seeing the boy’s powers , his selfishness took over . He executed his part of the plan and snuck the child out of the palace grounds . On their way to the harbor , the child started to wail and scream , Vikraman’s staff made every attempt to subdue it but its cries grew louder with time , when suddenly a jet of black fire shot out of the carriage into the ground . They stopped the carriage to take note of what had happened but the flame didn’t burn anything and simply sunk into the ground .
What followed next was what led to the great divide – the ground split open right where the boy’s flame had struck , Pangaea thus split into seven pieces .
But this was hundreds of years ago , the 7 pieces of Pangaea had mixed a composition but eventually , kingdoms formed , and it was believed that Mikael Volega had used his powers to alter his people’s physique so they could breathe underwater during the Great Divide and thus Neldorra controlled the seas.
Rumor has it that Mikael Volega had gone into stasis in his Kingdom underwater unable to handle the loss of his child . Ever since then , the seven kingdoms feared the waters and believed that Mikael Volega would strike back at them and make them pay for what he’d lost – the boy who wielded the Night .
Orion always felt his power was too dark for his liking , he longed for something that didn’t make him stand out at every turn in life , he had no one to coach him on how to hone his powers and felt helpless as usual . He got up from the makeshift bed they had made and tried his best to not make a noise when Horus said ,” ever the sneaky gremlin , aren’t we ?”
Orion sighed,” Horus I cant sleep and I just felt , if I could turn myself in , that would remove the target that’s been placed on their backs because of me .”
Horus said ,” I see no reason to continue to keep this from you child . Now how old do you think you are ? “
Orion found this question amusing as Horus very well knew his age ,” Oh come on old man , you know I’m a 121 years old.”
Horus’s response shocked Orion when he said , “ Now how about , you try adding a few hundred years to that eh ? “ , at Ori’s wide eyed reaction Horus continued,” I take it that you are no longer amused . Now how about you sit down and maybe make yourself a cup of tea ? There are somethings I need to tell you .”
